Professional review before print
Help Us Make Baxter Better
Your experience can help make these stories more useful to children and families.
Who I’d like to hear from
Child psychologists, Child Life specialists, pediatric and sensory-processing professionals, educators, counselors, children’s hospitals, family nonprofits, youth organizations, Boys & Girls Clubs and PAL programs.
There is still time to make changes
A clinical psychologist has reviewed the series, and published child-development, pediatric, child-life, sensory and family guidance has informed its development. The books have not yet gone to print.
I’m inviting direct professional feedback before the printed editions are finalized. The stories, questions and guidance can still change. I have specifically researched topics and approaches that may help children with autism, and I would welcome your feedback on their usefulness. A professional review is not clinical certification or an institutional endorsement.
What would help your families?
- Are we asking the right questions?
- What should we add, remove or simplify?
- What would you word differently?
- Are we missing a fear, sensory concern or useful coping approach?
- Which situations do children in your work repeatedly struggle with?
- What should become a future Baxter title?
Please identify the book and page when you can. Practical examples and suggested wording are welcome. A review does not require an endorsement.
